Starship VI Part I: Sole Survivor

Starship VI Part I: Sole Survivor

In May 2024 we launched our Kickstarter campaign Starship VI: Sole Survivor.

The 28mm Sole Survivor character Maddy, the shuttle Erebus and the starship Typhon (not includes in this image) are the main objects of the campaign Starship VI Part I: Sole Survivor.

The Shuttle Erebus

In the campaign we offered a shuttle, the Erebus, in the design language used by the great Ron Cobb. This 3D printable ship has been designed with playability in mind and is an optimal build size at around 13 inches in length. We offered both pre-printed physical ships for the connoisseur with too little time to print, and, as usual, the STL files to print yourself.

Erebus strikes a balance between cramped and claustrophobic, and brings to the table a whole new interior.

The Larger Sister: Typhon

In addition to Erebus, we also offered the concept ship Typhon, a sister ship of the Erebus, but deceptively larger.

At twice the size and six or seven times the displacement, Typhon has three decks, including a labyrinth of crawlspaces and a cargo bay large enough to get an APC into. It is larger than the Traveller ship Type S.

The Sole Survivor Maddy Walker

In the campaign we also introduced the Sole Survivor, Maddy Walker, a brand new miniature line of sculpts by Kyoushuneko Miniatures.

Vehicles

And as add-ons we had means of planetary transportation like these small survey vehicles, including a rover, crawler and hopper.

Tools for Survival

The tools to get your Sole Survivor to… well… survive.

Part II of the Sole Survivor Project

Starship VI will get a second part in 2025 with a massive new starship, a veritable haunted house in space! While not a clone of a incredible starship in the same design language, this massive ship will have five decks and house the shuttle as its lifeboat.
